We have a case of successful treatment of 2 small brain mets using GammaKnife (the patient's name is Tom, more info in the personal updates).
The brain mets were found when very small by the follow up scanning, asymptomatic. Dr. Konziokla Hillman Cancer Institute in Pitt performed radiosurgery Gamma Knife for the 2 consecutive small brain mets (proven to be successful by the slow dissolving on the scans that took about a year).
