current cabozantinib trials (as of Aug. 2014)

Post by Olga »

Since we have ASPS responders already, I decided to post few actively recruiting clinical trials that might be of interest for the people with no other treatment options and unable to get their insurance companies to pay for Cabozantinib:

1. Cabozantinib for Adults With Advanced Soft Tissue Sarcoma
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT ... ib&rank=48
Individuals at least 18 years of age who have soft tissue sarcomas that have not responded to standard treatments.
Subjects with brain metastases previously treated with whole brain radiation or radiosurgery or subjects with epidural disease previously treated with radiation who are asymptomatic and have remained stable for 4 weeks and do not require steroid treatment for at least 2 weeks before starting study treatment are eligible.
open at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda

2. Cabozantinib in Treating Younger Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Solid Tumors
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT ... nib&rank=7
ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier:
NCT01709435
Ages Eligible for Study: 2 Years to 18 Years
21 Study Locations

3. There are also separate Advanced Solid Malignancies trials at the NIH and Massachusetts General Hospital for the kids and adults with diff. inclusions criteria.
