I wanted to comment on specifically Joshua's weight loss from October 2015 to mid year this year
There is a great article that I posted back in November 2015 that goes over most of the reasons that cancer patience loose weight and how their need to regain weight falls thru the cracks of care

We pursued all avenues till we saw success with Joshua's slow but finally successful putting on of weight
We consulted a natural doctor for a look see of Joshua's blood work, a dietician for the weight gain needs and eventually went for a consult for a feeding tub to be used to jump start his appetite . Josh opted to not take advantage of the tub and tried successfully to gain weight by specifically increasing his protein grams to 80 a day.
All the health care folks were instrumental in aiding Josh to gain 10 of the 30 plus lbs he lost over the course of 6 plus months .
Food is as important if not more important to a sarcoma patient than their medicines
