If you are going to have a surgery to remove your Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma tumor: either your primary tumor or metastatic tumor (mets), please consider to donate your fresh tumors for research. We will mediate shipment of the tumors to the cancer research institutions, which work to find a cure for ASPS.Please note: If you had a surgery in the past and your hospital still keeps your ASPS tumors (fixed or frozen), please consider donating them for research to find a cure.
Very little is known about ASPS. Studies on fresh tumors are the best way to learn about this cancer and about therapies that may be used to cure ASPS.
If you made a decision to donate your tumors, we thank you very much. Please contact us as soon as possible, ideally two weeks before your surgery. This will ensure that we make preparations on time. The fresh tumors need to reach their destination within 24 hours of the operation.
